It’s great to see the clan back together. I used to love watching this cartoon when I was a kid, so I had to give this a read. The artwork is seriously impressive! Luckily, I already knew most of the characters they introduced in this episode, so it was easy to follow. But if you’re new to the series, don’t worry, it introduces the characters well. Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable read, I’m definitely sticking with the series because I’ve collected all the episodes they’ve released so far. I hope it keeps getting better. It’s a solid pick for both newcomers and fans who’ve been with the series from the start.
The Story: As a fan of the original series, I love that we’re getting more adventures with these characters. Weisman’s storytelling captures the essence of the characters and the intrigue that made the show so special. The first issue does a good job of catching you up on the characters and their situation and leaves you wanting more.
The Art: Kambadais has a fantastic visual style that highlights the characters with great, dramatic poses and atmosphere. I love the look of this issue, and I’m excited to see how Kambadais continues to visually develop the series. Whether you’re new to it or you’ve been a fan for a while, it’s definitely worth a read.
