GARGOYLES: DARK AGES #2

So, after all the anticipation, we’re finally getting into the epic battle we’ve been waiting for since issue 1. Brace yourselves, though, because there are some losses.

Hudson takes the lead, commanding his gargoyle crew as they clash with the enemy forces. But, surprise, surprise, not everyone’s jumping into the fight. Goliath and a few others are keeping their distance, letting their human allies take the front lines.

The plot thickens when the enemy brings a mage into the mix, throwing a curveball that catches the gargoyles and humans off guard. Things get even crazier when another mage shows up, shifting the balance of power. And, boy, does it get personal for Hudson. His love gets hurt, and his daughter ends up in enemy hands.

The Story: This issue is a rollercoaster of action. Weisman really expands the world of these characters, and there’s a jaw-dropping surprise waiting for you. The tension just keeps building, and it’s a wake-up call that these gargoyles aren’t invincible. They’re vulnerable, and it leads to some seriously emotional moments for Hudson.

The Art: Moss absolutely kills it with the artwork. The visuals are a blast and capture the action and suspense perfectly.
